Wherehouse
📦 Amazon Seller Flex and FBM

Sell on Amazon from the warehouse you already run.

For brands and distributors who ship Amazon orders themselves (Seller Flex or FBM, short for fulfilled by merchant). Amazon becomes one more channel next to Takealot, Makro and your store. Stock follows your warehouse, orders land in your workflow, and the shipping label comes from Amazon.

Amazon Seller Flex & FBM

Ship Amazon orders from your own warehouse

For brands and distributors who ship Amazon orders to buyers themselves (Seller Flex or FBM, which means you ship, not Amazon). Wherehouse connects your Amazon account to your warehouse management system (WMS), so selling, stock and shipping stay in step without retyping.

Seller Flex stock kept in sync

We keep your Seller Flex stock in sync with your WMS, so Amazon shows what you actually hold. As stock moves in your warehouse, Amazon quantities follow, which helps prevent overselling and stale listings.

Shipping labels from Amazon

For orders you ship yourself, Wherehouse gets the shipping label from Amazon through Amazon's Merchant Fulfillment and Easy Ship APIs. Your team picks, packs and dispatches in the workflow it already uses.

Orders in your fulfilment workflow

We pull each order through Amazon's Orders API and turn it into pick, pack and ship instructions inside your WMS, so every order you ship yourself goes out right.

How we handle your data. Amazon order and buyer information is processed only to fulfil and ship the buyer's order, and is handled in line with Amazon's Data Protection Policy and our Privacy Policy .

Amazon as one more channel, not a second job

Wherehouse sits between your Amazon account and the stock system you already run, next to Takealot, Makro and your store. You grow Amazon orders without growing the admin.

  • Accurate availability. Amazon shows the stock you can actually ship, so you don’t oversell.
  • Faster dispatch. Labels and order lines land in your fulfilment workflow automatically.
  • Fewer errors. Nobody retypes order lines between Amazon and your WMS.
  • One view. Amazon sits next to Takealot, Makro and your store, in the same place.

Straight answers

What are Seller Flex and FBM?

Both mean Amazon orders ship from your own warehouse, not Amazon’s. FBM is short for fulfilled by merchant. Seller Flex is Amazon’s programme for sellers who fulfil from their own site. With FBA (fulfilled by Amazon), Amazon holds the stock and ships it for you.

Do you handle the shipping labels?

Yes. For orders you ship yourself, Wherehouse gets the label from Amazon through Merchant Fulfillment or Easy Ship. Your team prints, packs and dispatches from the workflow it already uses.

What if some of our stock sits in FBA?

That works too. Orders from FBA and from your own warehouse both come in, tagged by how they ship. A separate Amazon DC stock view shows what sits in Amazon’s warehouses.

Where do Amazon orders and fees go?

Into the store or ERP you already run, next to your Takealot and Makro orders. Amazon’s commission and other fees come in with each order, so the invoice in Xero, QuickBooks or Zoho Books matches what Amazon paid out.

Can you set a different price on Amazon?

Yes. Amazon can carry its own price rule, like +15% to cover Amazon’s referral fee, so each sale still makes money. Your other channels keep their own rules.

Can you create new Amazon listings?

Not new product pages. On Amazon we link your offer to a listing that already exists, matched on the ASIN (Amazon’s product ID). Once it’s linked, stock and price stay in sync.

Is there a setup fee?

No. A named person sets it up with you. We run test orders first, and nothing automatic goes live until those are right. Billed monthly, month to month.
